It is 7 a.m. September 5th, 2015, and I am now lying awake. Yes, awake, thinking “WOW today is the day I enter my gluten free carrot cake in the fair!” Okay so I can't go back to sleep because I'm way too excited to sleep. I get dressed and do my devotions. Then I wait anxiously for the rest of the family to get up and ready to go to the fair. I wait, and I wait... okay I'm still waiting. Now I'm staring at the cake, still waiting. Now I'm panicking over last minute second thoughts over what would have worked better in my recipe! Okay now I pray and I'm feeling much better. And now perhaps I'm done waiting for everyone. Now we're off to the fair! What will happen at the fair? Will Tamara get a first prize and do a victory dance? Or, will her cake fall on the floor before get judged? Or, will she not place at all? Or, will Bugs Bunny eat all the carrot cake before they get judged or will he do it after the judging?
There's only one way to find out stayed tuned for Tamara's next post “To Win” or “Not to Win.” Like what you read? Sign up to our newsletter and find out about posts sooner!
